Updated forecasts are not coming back. Our meteorologist gave it a full year. Much work, not much pay, so she decided not to renew the contract. The contract that started with a bet on how much and how long it would take to set up a working video weather web site, with a guy that had never even owned a video camera. It took 3 months from the idea to the first video posting, and over a 12 month span produced over 200 posted weather related videos and had an average of 5 thousand page views a week during the last 2 months of updates. This with 1 Sony HD Camera, 2 IBM laptops, 3 lights and an extra large green sheet, using basic Adobe and Microsoft software, and information from the National Weather Service. That said, please don't blame Michelle for the archaic looking backgrounds and camera faults, it was the lack of experience and time available for the staff that are to blame. She is a real trooper and truly gifted on camera. Hope playing this little "best of.." below helps her get a TV gig, which is truly where she should be instead of here.
